Frequently Asked Questions

What training do your nurses receive?

While we only hire experienced infusion nurses, we do provide specialized training as required in Immunotherapies and other medications with competencies demonstrated during joint visits until both nurse and staff feel safe and comfortable.

Do you care for long-term chronic care patients?

Yes, it is our specialty!

What does On-Demand home infusion nursing services mean?

Our infusion nurses are available to visit your patients when you need to augment your existing nursing team as staffing challenges arise, such as sick calls, vacations, LOAs or simply to decrease burnout of your staff.  We match you with a nurse that best meets your needs and requires the least amount of travel to get your patients seen.

Do you have nurses available on evenings and weekends?

We sure do!

Can you book a nurse ahead of time to cover vacations and LOAs?

Absolutely! The earlier the better to make sure you are covered.

Are you a Home Health agency?

No, we are an ACHC Accredited Private Duty Agency that specializes in Home Infusion Nurse Staffing.

Can your nurses help us with call for patient visits?

We sure can!

If one of your staff nurses calls in sick, do you take last minute nurse bookings? Even if your nurse has several visits scheduled?

Yes!  While there is never a guarantee when booking a nurse last minute, we can give you an answer immediately.

Do you supply the medications and infusion supplies?

No. We are not a Pharmacy or DME company.  We are a nursing services company.  You ship medications and all necessary supplies (including required PPE) to either your patient’s home or to the nurse you have booked to see your patient.

What is your hiring process for nurses?

Our nurses must pass a thorough screening process before being hired including a background check, drug screen, Arizona level 1 fingerprint clearance, Tspot/TB test, Hepatitis B vaccine, active professional licenses/certifications, professional malpractice insurance, active driver’s license, valid auto insurance and professional letters of reference.  A more detailed list is available upon request.

Do you have a minimum number of hours?

No.

How do you bill for services?

We will send invoice with nursing documentation within 72 hours of patient visit.

How do your rates compare to staffing companies that bill for the visit time only?

We are very competitive, often times less expensive.

Do you take private pay?

Yes we do!

Can your nurses do overnight or multi-night stays if needed?

Yes, some of our nurses are available to help with longer term needs.  For example, if we have a nurse that lives in Tuscon and is available to help out for a week in Mohave County, you would just have to pay for hotel/meals.  The bill rate for the nurses time would be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

What areas of Arizona do you cover?

We have nurses throughout the entire state of Arizona.

Do you take insurance?

We do not take insurance currently.  We are working with insurance companies presently to be able to contract directly with them for home infusion nursing services.

How long does it take to get documentation back to us after the patient visit?

We require our nurses to turn in documentation within 24-48 hours and strive to get it to you within 72 hours.  We have a 90% success rate with this documentation turnaround time.

Can your patients request their favorite nurse?

Absolutely!
